As a founder member of the Carmarthenshire Construction Training Association and an active member of the Construction Industry Training Board, the company places a great deal of importance on health & safety and is committed to a programme of continuous training and development.
Training plans are regularly up-dated and reviewed on an annual basis to meet the training needs of all staff and company requirements.
Staff are given the opportunity to continually improve and develop their skills, and encouraged to up-skill, through on site assessments and adult learning courses.
All staff are required to hold the relevant CSCS Card on appointment or achieve the relevant card following appointment. The company strives to maintain a 100% registration status and currently holds the CSCS Employers Certificate of Commitment - Platinum Award.
Since its establishment Lloyd & Gravell Ltd., has in partnership with the CITB and Carmarthenshire College supported apprenticeship placements on an annual basis. Placements are supported across the following professions:
- HNC Construction Management
- Foundation Degree in Construction Management
- Degree in Construction Management
The recruitment process for apprenticeships start at the beginning of June with interviews being held in July. The apprenticeship programme starts at the end of August/beginning of September each year.

Apprentices of the Year
The company introduced an Apprentice of the Year Award Programme in 2007. The recipient of the award is decided by the Management Team at the end of each academic year.
